Are you diddikai? (half)? Because I think you can definitely call yourself Rroma. Though, I really don’t see the difference between calling yourself Romani and Roma? (it’s kinda the same thing?) 

I used to call myself diddikai, but I actually found out I’m probably full (just hated for being pharnavi (light-skinned) instead of being hated for being diddikai)… I know in the UK there’s also Romany—which are not Rroma per-se, though they all came from Rroma roots…

aiyee, anyway, I just want to say I think if you’re half you can definitely call yourself Rroma! (or Romany)

Although it is really difficult to tell because everyone in my family is so secretive about it. My father is the only ‘practicing’ (easiest way to put it) member of my ‘blood’ family so although I deeply care for the Roma I feel detached because I’m just a Romanichal diddikai. 

Odd, it’s not really something I have ever thought about before really but since joining tumblr the seed of doubt has arrived. 

You’re not “just” anything. The secretive stuff just really gets on my nerves. My mother’s family were like that. Just finding stuff out now about that!
