Could you please explain what the phrase Rom Baro means?
Rom Baro is the Americanized version of “Baro Rom”. This literally means “big man” and is used in reference to the head of the Kumpanija, or group of families that live (and in the past, travelled) together. The tv series Law & Order: SVU recently did an episode featuring Roma. Just for reference, the Baro is not like a Mafia Don at all….
